From this response all I can see we can do is to report ALL possible cases of PLT interference to Ofcom.

Hi,

We've discussed this at the club. Sure you've also seen the various articles in Radcom and Practical Wireless. Think there are various actions being taken, but not sure how long this will all take.

You know that I was not a very active amateur in UK from 1999 until last year. The main comment I would make is that 10+ years ago, UK was relatively "noise & interference" free on HF bands. This is certainly not the case now and like most others, I often have massive S9 noise and interference on the lower HF bands. It seems this probably arises from the huge increase in wifi everything in modern homes, electrical equipment that is not provided with proper screening by the manufacturers (that probably hasn't changed much) and the rapidly increasing use of PLT technologies - I'm sure there are many other reasons in this electronic modern world.  I agree we should report all interference to Ofcom. Very different to those days many years ago when I was first licensed and worried about creating any interference - the dreaded knock on the front door!

Does anybody know if the RSGB - as the national body for the hobby -  is keeping records of particular problems and so on?
