Most beacons heard were probable via sporadic E propagation,
except for GB3RAL which was via ground wave, and 4X6TU via F2.
Heard far more than expected due to one very good day, and
luckily I was able to spend several hours listening that day.
BOLD = HEARD NOV 07 Aerial used was a vertical. C= Continuous Xmission, I= Intermittent, v= Frequency varies
H=Date heard, R=Reported heard by friends to show that the beacon is known to be active.

I am not expecting to hear many beacons next month as the sporadic e propagation
openings are getting shorter and shorter, but there are possibilities of some F2.
During the CQWWDXCW contest I made a few QSO’s on 10MtsI again looking for different countries 9A7A ZS4TX T93O HA6PX C4N SO9Q 4L0A 5B4AII OK1FDR DL2NBY S57S 4O3A RA6AX RT6A IK2AHB YM2W F8CMF 4U1ITU SV1ENG UU7J EA6IB EA5FV CT6A V51AS EA9EU YU2A PP1CZ at 1301Z LU8YE at 1304Z. I heard 3X5A for several hours 519 but the nearest I got to a QSO was a qrz g3y? just using a vertical and 100Wts.
Which goes to show that although the band sounds dead most of the time it soon comes alive when you say hello to someone with a beam and linear rather than the beacons with
QRP and small aerials.
