More Exam Success!Chris, Matt & Paul passed their Foundation Exam on Saturday 12/5/12. Congratulations to all three and welcome to amateur radio and long may you enjoy our hobby. Thanks to John G0JYL and Kris 2E0KKB for invigilating. From Jon G0IUE; "Just to let you know the GQ3VRE NOV arrived today and is at the Club. Did the on air Practicals for FL candidates Paul, Matt and Chris today using the Jubilee Call-sign. XBX did the spring clean at VRE as well and it was a mammoth hoovering task !!"  |
The club meets every Tuesday 7.30pm at the Sea Cadets HQ TS Tiger Long Close Chippenham Wiltshire. Anyone interested in amateur radio is welcome to come along. There is a full calendar of events including contests, field days, a direction finding fox hunt, talks, demos and presentations. Training for the Foundation Licence is also available. The club is well equipped with a 60 foot tower with beams for HF and VHF and Yeasu and Icom transceivers.
